Every morning we will gather chicken eggs, let out the ducks, feed the pigs, and experience personalities and intricacies of the animal world. While out, we will look at the larger ecosystem and how important clean and healthy water, soil, and air are to grow the things we like to eat, learn about our local plants, and in general invoke curiosity about where and how we are. We will get our hands dirty watering, weeding, harvesting, or seeding to get directly involved in helping the community grow food (and tasting it as we go)! We will practice mindfulness, natural arts and crafts, and of course play at the pond, in the forest, and in the garden! This is 100% outdoor programming, be prepared for all weather and prepare your child to protect themselves from the sun.
