Truth is, we cannot learn (remember) to be a more sustainable society until we transition to sourcing the things we consume from closer to home.
What have you bought at the grocery store recently that could have been harvested (or substituted) from right outside your door?
You'll never know unless you look!
One Friday per month, NiN will provide the opportunity to walk the land as a community to discuss what we have, how we can use it, and how we can create less waste in our consumption cycles.
This month, the theme is Spring Bounty- learn to recognize and use spring edibles like dandelion root, nettles and fiddleheads. We will be outdoors, walking around the property to see what nature has to offer right now. Social distancing will be encouraged, and COVID number restrictions apply so please register at
Families, youth, anyone interested is invited!
