When given the opportunity, where do your instincts guide you?
Thurdays, Fridays and Saturdays, these 1.5 hour nature tutoring sessions are available for anyone, young, old, alone or with a group. They are designed to facilitate time in nature that allows lessons, goals and directions to be determined as the world unravels in front of us and the days, seasons, and times speak for themselves.
We can learn so much from the natural world when we give ourselves the time; in fact, she has been considered the best and even only teacher by many cultures and for as long as we can remember.
Your facilitator, Kristina Schrage, has been living on this land for over a year, teaching environmental education for 8 years, and teaching permaculture gardening this summer. She has her Masters in Environmental Education and is looking forward to sharing what she already knows as well as learning alongside you as we tackle this new kind of learning together.
If you are curious about some things that could happen; yesterday we found a huge zucchini and made zucchini muffins. Today, we are saving seeds. This afternoon, we could hang out with the dog, cats, chickens, deer, take a walk in the cedar groves or to the pond. Build a fire, make a fort, learn to make medicinal salves, or how to prepare a garden for the winter. There is a pottery wheel, a workshop, gardens, fields to explore, and much more.
Book a session, bring your friends/kids, the cost is the same per time period.
